Prof. Kalidindi Venkata Satyanarayana Raju, popularly known as Prof. K.V.S.Raju was born on 24th September 1956. He is a multi-specialty and multi-faceted personality. He received M.Sc. degree from Barakathulla University, Madhya Pradesh in 1981. He joined Bank of Baroda and served the bank in different capacities at different places. While in service he passed through CAIIB. Being in banking industry as a manager, to add theoretical knowledge to his practical experience and to satiate his thirst for knowledge in general, pursued M.B.A. course offered by Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad and passed through that in flying colors. Further to keep pace with changing times acquired competency in computing and worked in IT department of the Bank. Later to further satiate is never ending thirst for reading, teaching and research he took VRS from the Bank of Baroda in 2001 and joined Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology, Rajamundry. With his vast practical experience and academic excellence could settle down as a good teacher too. In 2005 on invitation, he did join Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad as an Administrative Officer cum Professor. Since then he has been teaching different subjects to B.Tech. and M.B.A. students. He has attended several seminars, workshops and conferences, and organized a few. He has published a few articles in journals of national and international repute. He was awarded Ph.D. in Management by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, for his research work on "Leadership Development in Public Sector Banks" in 2014.
