The Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups Cell (SEDG) has been constituted with the following faculty members to redress the grievance of SC/ST students and faculty.

The roles and responsibilities of the SEDG Cell are listed below.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • To address the academic and non-academic issues and complaints received from the SC/ST students.
  • To ensure an environment where all communities can participate in academic and placement activities without any discrimination.
  • To circulate the information about the special educational opportunities and various scholarships provided by the State or Central government for the SC/ST-students.
  • To ensure to implement constitutional rights extended to the SC/ST students in the college.
  • To propose and organize skill-oriented programs to enrich their carrier growth.
